BUCCANEERS TICKETS FOR 2021 SEASON SOLD OUT

Team introduces Season Pass Member Priority Waitlist

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today announced that all tickets for their 2021 season home games at Raymond James Stadium have sold out. All games, beginning with the team’s first preseason contest on August 14 against the Cincinnati Bengals, will be played with 100 percent fan capacity.

The decision to move to full capacity in the 65,000+-seat stadium is in accordance with CDC guidelines and came after consultation with the Tampa Sports Authority. Patrons who have received a COVID-19 vaccination will not be mandated to wear a mask or face covering. Those who have opted to remain unvaccinated will be required to wear masks.

Every available seat in the general admission, premium and club areas, and luxury suites for the entire home slate was issued to existing or new season pass members. In response to the unprecedented demand, the Buccaneers also introduced a waiting list for individuals hoping to purchase season passes in future seasons.

“This is a momentous achievement for the organization and our fans,” said Buccaneers Chief Operating Officer Brian Ford. “We have worked closely with the Tampa Sports Authority to welcome back the best fans in the NFL, and we are excited to play in a completely full Raymond James Stadium this upcoming season. To have the entire season sold out before we even reach training camp is a testament to our passionate and loyal fan base.”

The newly established Season Pass Member Priority Waitlist requires a refundable $100 deposit, which can also be applied to future purchases. Additional information on joining the Waitlist can be found here, or by calling the Buccaneer Ticket Office at 1-866-582-BUCS (2827), or via email at Bucssalesteam@buccaneers.nfl.com.

KENNY CHESNEY FACES NO SHOES NATION HERE AND NOW

KENNY CHESNEY FACES NO SHOES NATION HERE AND NOW

2022 Stadium Tour Presented by Blue Chair Bay Rum and Fueled by Marathon Kicks Off April 23 in Tampa

“...to be in the moment is everything No Shoes Nation is about!”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – “When we hit pause on our 2020 tour, I never thought we would go much past the fall, let alone into 2021,” says eight-time Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney. “The idea that it would be three years before I would stand in the end zone of Gillette Stadium, where No Shoes Nation was born, wasn’t something any of us could conceive.

“I still can’t really believe it. But in the middle of all of this, I know it’s true... and I know how much I miss being out there, being in the thick of the most passionate place in the world: No Shoes Nation. Anywhere they plant their flags, bring their passion, their friends and their will to rock, it reminds me that to be in the moment is everything No Shoes Nation is about!

“With every city, county and state having their own protocols, with capacity numbers shifting every day, I didn’t want to announce until we knew we could come full on... strong... and without a care in the world. I always want to be that place where you can let go, feel safe and have the time of the summer. After a lot of work on a lot of people’s parts, a lot of cooperation from the folks at the stadiums, the places we’re coming and the teams we share those venues with, we’re ready to announce the Here And Now 2022 Stadium Tour.”

For Chesney, coming back was everything. Concern about who would not be able to attend sold-out stadium shows, last minute changes in protocols and the challenges of mounting stadium-sized concerts week-after-week with shifting local crews tipped the scales to waiting. But Blue Chair Bay Rum Presents Here And Now 2022 Fueled by Marathon promises to be full-on, full-tilt Kenny Chesney, emblematic of the man The Wall Street Journal touted as “The King of the Road” and The Los Angeles Times deemed “The People’s Superstar.”

“Like it does for everyone, the idea of music, live music, fills me up,” Chesney explains. “Nothing is so in the moment, so completely alive. I want to start 2022 with the awesome rush that embodies everything playing for No Shoes Nation is. We’re calling the tour Here And Now 2022, because when we get together, there is only the present – and it’s so electric and good, I know I don’t want it to end. I just want to be 100% there with all of you.”

Kicking off April 23 in Tampa, Fla. at Raymond James Stadium, Chesney will play 19 stadium concerts, closing Here And Now 2022 down with a double-play August 26 and 27 at New England’s Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. Look for a fresh line-up to be announced in the coming months, but know you can keep that seat you worked so hard to get! All current ticketholders remain in the seats they’ve already purchased for Here And Now 2022.

Refunds are immediately available at the point of purchase for those who bought from the primary ticket source for the next 30 days.

“I can’t wait,” enthuses the songwriter/superstar from East Tennessee. “Literally, here and now. In the moment. All of us together, like we’ve been so many times, but fresh and alive and in the music. That’s why we’re calling it Here And Now 2022. It’s the perfect name for this tour.”

Rogers Park’s Craig Ironside Awarded Golf Course Superintendent of the Year

Rogers Park’s Craig Ironside Awarded Golf Course Superintendent of the Year

Rogers Park’s Golf Course Superintendent Craig Ironside has been awarded the 2020 Superintendent of the Year by the West Central Chapter PGA. The WCCPGA Superintendent of the Year Award is an honor the Association can bestow on a working superintendent, whose contributions to the game best exemplify support of the PGA Professional.  This award embraces a wide range of services executed by the superintendent:

•             Demonstration of outstanding qualities of leadership

•             Demonstration of strong moral character

•             Substantial record of service to the Association and the game of golf

•             Well-regarded as a supporter of the PGA Golf Professionals

“I would like to thank the West Central Chapter of the PGA for presenting me with the Superintendent of the Year award. I am honored and proud to receive this recognition.“ said Craig Ironside,”While my name appears on the award this was truly a team effort. Our success over the last two years can be directly attributed to the hard work and dedication of the entire golf course maintenance staff. A special thank you to Al Schram my Assistant Superintendent. I promise, we will not stop putting forth every effort each day to continue improving the golf course.”

“Rogers Park has consistently been one of the best public golf courses in the Tampa market since Craig joined our team two years ago. The improvement of golf course conditions at Rogers Park has contributed to a substantial increase in revenues.” states Kennie Sims, Vice President of Golf Operations for the Tampa Sports Authority. The Tampa Sports Authority manages Rogers Park along with Babe Zaharias and Rocky Point Golf Courses for the City of Tampa.

Rogers Park Golf Course, built in 1952, has evolved as one of Tampa, Florida's best-kept secrets. The beautiful 18-hole golf facility is steeped in history and rich in heritage. During the days of segregation, Rogers Park was the only picnic area for the African-American community in Tampa. The park took the name of its contributor, G.D. Rogers. After church on Sundays, many families came to enjoy the swings, slides, baseball diamond and picnic area. Mayor Curtis Hixon gave permission to a group of caddies from Palma Ceia Country Club to build a 9-hole golf course. The first Head Golf Professional, Willie Black, directed his group of volunteers, and, with meticulous care, all of the tree removal and shaping was done by hand. Upon its completion in 1952, the Rogers Park Golf Club was born.

KENNY CHESNEY 2020 CHILLAXIFICATION RESCHEDULED SHOWS

FINALLY...

KENNY CHESNEY 2020 CHILLAXIFICATION RESCHEDULED SHOWS

“Everything Keeps Changing, But This is the 2021 Tour”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – In an unprecedented time, the unthinkable has redefined every aspect of how people live and look at the world around them. For Kenny Chesney, who spent last year playing to the always passionate members of No Shoes Nation in areas not visited by his massive stadium runs, the idea of not returning to the stadiums on his 2020 schedule was inconceivable. And then COVID-19 created a reality where the number of unknowns saw the songwriter/superstar first postpone the opening leg, then ultimately push the Blue Chair Bay Rum Presents Kenny Chesney’s Chillaxification Tour Fueled by Marathon into 2021.

“I kept talking to experts, city officials, team owners, medical people, looking to understand how we were coming along with resolving the health issues,” Chesney explains. “I had kept hoping that as time passed, information would not only increase, but there would be some sort of solution so people could come back together. But things weren’t getting any clearer, so I did the hardest thing for me, but obviously best option for the safety of No Shoes Nation, my road family and everyone at the buildings involved.”

Now, Messina Touring Group announces the rescheduled stadium dates for Chesney’s Chillaxification Tour (below), which will visit 18 venues with the same lineup of special guests: Florida Georgia Line, Old Dominion and Michael Franti & Spearhead.

“So much goes into the stadium shows, people have no idea,” Chesney says. “Take all of that, then factor in all the other issues that come with rescheduling, making sure there aren’t conflicts with baseball or other events nearby – and maintain the kind of quality we want to bring. There were so many questions, so many unknowns, but I believe music makes a difference in people’s lives, so everyone on my team, the promoter’s team and all of the people we deal with have worked overtime trying to get this sorted out.

“With Here And Now, we have so much great music! The response to the ‘We Do’ video tells me everybody is ready to get back out there to do what we all do best: rock hard, sing loud, enjoy the moment, love our friends and create memories that will last a lifetime.”

Original tickets are automatically valid for the rescheduled show dates. Patrons unable to attend the rescheduled shows have thirty (30) days from today’s date to request a refund at the point of purchase. As the 2020 shows set for Houston and San Antonio are unable to be rescheduled for 2021, guests in those markets will also receive a refund. Rescheduled amphitheater show dates will be announced shortly.

KENNY CHESNEY POSTPONES INITIAL CHILLAXIFICATION DATES HOPING FOR EVERYTHING THROUGH MAY 28 TO BE RESCHEDULED

KENNY CHESNEY POSTPONES INITIAL CHILLAXIFICATION DATES

HOPING FOR EVERYTHING THROUGH MAY 28 TO BE RESCHEDULED

“In times of uncertainty, I won’t take chances with those I love.”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – These are uncertain times, and Kenny Chesney feels the unrest. With his band and crews deep in rehearsals for the 2020 Chillaxification Tour, he found himself looking at people who’ve been part of his road family for decades – and he knew he had to do something. It wasn’t an easy decision, but when you’re invested in the musicians, the techs, the drivers and especially the fans, it comes down to one thing.

“You can’t take risks without really understanding the consequences,” explains the man hailed as “The King of the Road” by the Wall Street Journal. “In times of uncertainty, I won’t take chances with those I love. I can’t imagine, as much as we love being out there playing for the fans, being able to do that through the worry our nation is experiencing.

“So, while we wait to see how this terrible virus is going to impact our country, I think it’s only fair to move these first several dates now. We are figuring some of this out as we go, but I know people buy airline tickets, book hotel rooms – and I wanted to try to give everyone as much time to sort that out as possible.”

Currently, seven stadiums and four amphitheater shows have been postponed. Starting with the Blue Chair Bay Rum Presents Kenny Chesney’s 2020 Chillaxification Tour Fueled by Marathon kick off Saturday, April 18 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the postponements run through May 28 at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Representatives for Messina Touring are working in the hopes of finding alternate dates later in the touring season. Hopefully within six weeks, all the moving pieces will be resolved; new dates should be in place. Those unable to attend will be refunded.

“This is all uncharted,” acknowledges Chesney. “I’m like everyone else: watching the news, wondering when we may know something concrete, not sure how this gets transmitted, worried someone I know will catch it. I want to believe this will all be okay in the end; but right now, I don’t feel like this risk to No Shoes Nation is worth it.

“Nobody wants to get out there for these shows more than I do. We’ve started rehearsals; everything is loaded in – and the band sounds great. Music is medicine when your soul or your heart need healing, but I don’t want my music to put anyone at risk. So, I promise: we are going to work as quickly as we can to sort out what we can and can’t do in terms of these dates. We’re going to cross our fingers this pandemic will resolve as some of the experts have suggested, and we hope to kick off the tour May 30th at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, a venue we’ve played since 2005. But mostly, I hope this virus is contained, and the suffering and deaths are kept to the fewest possible people.”

The 2020 Chillaxification Tour continues the enduring rite of summer Chesney’s stadium shows have become. With “Here & Now” capturing the reality of living in the now, celebrating the moment and the notion don’t postpone your life, Chesney realizes how precious every experience is. No one is more committed to making memories, capturing life in song and celebrating the awesomeness of being right where you are more than the 8-time ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year.

Stamford, Conn., August 21, 2019 - The XFL today revealed the names and logos of the league’s eight inaugural teams:

“The XFL is about football and fun, and our team identities are intended to signify just that,” said XFL President and COO, Jeffrey Pollack. “Now it’s up to our fans and players to help write the story. What happens on the field and in the community, in the years ahead, will determine the true spirit of each team.”

The XFL team identities were presented to fans today during a show that was streamed simultaneously across XFL.com, ESPN.com, FOXSports.com, and the league’s social channels. Eight short films were produced to share the origin story of each team name. Scripts of the films follow with a link for viewing:

DC Defenders: On the shoulders of giants, they stand tall. Unconquerable. Unyielding. Marching ever forward. A force united. One quest. One purpose. One resolve. Seeking glory through grit. Victory through valor. The DC Defenders. Taking their stand. Click here to view.

Dallas Renegades: Deep in the heart of Texas, beats a different kind of pulse. A spirit untamed. A swagger that can’t be denied. Where big meets bold meets badass. Houston Roughnecks: Resolute. Rippling with heat. Railing against fatigue. Unceasing and often unseen, they labor deep in the trenches. Mercenaries in the muck. Brawlers in blackened dirt. Los Angeles Wildcats: In the land of bright lights. Far from the flash and fame. They’ve already begun to prowl. Enter their den and be dominated. Run away and be ripped apart. New York Guardians: Sentries carved of stone. Watchdogs over the metropolis. A prehistoric predator. A beast evolves, turned loose in a new kind of jungle. All teeth and talons, eyes unblinking. St. Louis BattleHawks: Winged warriors. Preparing for flight. Preparing to fight. They await their orders. Then attack as one. Diving, dodging, swooping, striking. Their mission: create chaos. Their mandate: win at all costs. The St. Louis BattleHawks. Cleared to engage. Click here to view

Tampa Bay Vipers: In the shadows they wait. Demons, born in darkness. Hunters by instinct. Cold-blooded by nature. Their bite, unavoidable. Their grip, inescapable. Supercross Returns to Raymond James Stadium February 15, 2020

Monster Energy Supercross 2020 Race Schedule Announced

Supercross Returns to Raymond James Stadium February 15, 2020

Ellenton, Fla., (July 9, 2019)- The 17-round schedule for the 2020 season of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, will return to some of the sport’s most iconic stadiums while also rotating fan-favorite markets like St. Louis, Mo., Tampa, Fla. and Foxborough, Mass. back into the routing.

The season finale moves to the sports-friendly state of Utah on Saturday, May 2 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.

Saturday nights belong to Supercross and the stars of the sport will take to the track beginning on January 4, 2020 at the iconic Angel Stadium of Anaheim which has hosted Supercross more than any other venue in the sport’s 46-year history. The Anaheim Opener sets the stage for the season and typically offers a few surprises by revealing off-season preparation for the most competitive and highest-profile off-road motorcycle racing championship in the world. Last year, Justin Barcia became the 20thdifferent winner in a memorable, rain-soaked finish in front of a capacity crowd.

Returning in 2020 are races in St. Louis, Mo. at the Dome at America’s Center on January 11, Tampa, Fla. at Raymond James Stadium on February 15 and Foxborough, Mass. at Gillette Stadium on April 18.

Additional highlights include heritage markets like Arlington, Texas on February 22 at AT&T Stadium where 57,000 plus fans witnessed the closest race in history last season between Cooper Webb and Ken Roczen, plus Atlanta, Ga. at the Mercedes Benz Stadium on February 29, Detroit, Mich. at Ford Field on March 21 and Seattle, Wash. at CenturyLink Field on March 28.

The series then returns to Denver, Co. at Broncos Stadium at Mile High on April 4 for the second consecutive year where more than 59,000 raucous fans cheered on hometown favorite Eli Tomac in what was one of the loudest races in recent memory.

Las Vegas has hosted the final race for the past 23 seasons and remains on the schedule as the penultimate round in the series which will then head to Salt Lake City for the finale and title crowning.

“Our goal is the continued growth of the sport and rotating markets every couple of years, expanding Supercross Futures events and moving the finale to a new location helps keep the series fresh and exciting for the fans, as well as for the race teams and athletes,” said Todd Jendro, Vice President of Operations – Motorsports, Feld Entertainment. “Utah has become synonymous with elite, world class sporting events and we thought hosting the finale in Salt Lake City would be a fitting choice.”

Supercross embodies the State of Sportlifestyle with a majority of the fanbase spectating or participating in outdoor sports and leisure activities.

“Utah has a long history of hosting Supercross events and other major international sporting events, including the Olympic Winter Games," said Utah Sports Commission President and CEO Jeff Robbins. “The season finale will be one of biggest sporting events ever held in Utah, driving tremendous economic impact and media value to our great state. We are excited to welcome back the top riders in the world and their terrific fans to Utah."

Additional details on special travel packages will be made available later in the year as Utah opens its doors and its treasures to the Supercross community.

“The 2020 schedule gives fans across the country an opportunity to witness one of the greatest shows in motorsports,” said AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman. “The AMA is proud to work with championship series promoter Feld Entertainment, Inc. and the FIM to ensure the sport continues to achieve the highest standards for fairness and competition while thrilling, exciting and inspiring fans of all ages.”

Supercross features the world's most elite athletes chasing their dreams onto U.S. soil inside America's most well-known stadiums. Three first-time champions, Cooper Webb (450SX Class), Dylan Ferrandis (Western Regional 250SX Class) and Chase Sexton (Eastern Regional 250SX Class) will be eager to defend their titles against the rich field of Jason Anderson, Marvin Musquin, Eli Tomac, Chad Reed, Ken Roczen, Justin Barcia, Adam Cianciarulo (250SX Class), Justin Cooper (250SX Class) and Austin Forkner (250SX Class).

Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship is where the best riders in the world battle for the ‘number one’ plate. It is a demanding and intense series of 17 events in just 18 weeks,” said Jorge Viegas, FIM President. “Demanding for the riders and teams, yet exciting for the fans worldwide who cannot wait to see their heroes enter the stadium and challenge the track. Last season we saw the ‘outsider’ Cooper Webb win the Championship in style beating the likes of Tomac, Musquin, Roczen and Anderson. Only time will tell if he can do it again in 2020.”

Lastly, in its second full season, Supercross Futures, an AMA Amateur National Championship, will take place in ten select markets while continuing to establish itself as the world's premier developmental platform for amateur Supercross racing. The 2020 national championship will take place in October following the Monster Energy Cup. Dates and location will be announced later in the year.

All tickets for the 2020 season will go on sale Tuesday, October 8 with a presale date of Tuesday, October 1. Triple Crown events and 250SX Class East/West Showdown races will be revealed when tickets go on sale.

Before the 2020 season officially begins, the sport's top athletes will battle it out in Las Vegas on October 19 at the invite-only all-star event - the Monster Energy Cup. Following a second-place 450SX Class finish in 2019, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Eli Tomac will return to Sam Boyd Stadium and attempt to defend his 2018 Monster Energy Cup title. If successful, Tomac will become the first athlete to ever win the "Monster Million" twice. Catch all the action live on NBCSN or via the NBC Sports app at 7:00 p.m. PT, or visit SupercrossLIVE.comto purchase tickets.

CHICAGO (Dec. 6, 2018) – U.S. Soccer has announced “Countdown to the Cup,” the schedule of matches and venues for the U.S. Women’s National Team in 2019 that will lead into next summer’s FIFA Women’s World Cup. Countdown to the Cup will run from January to May with the USA playing a total of 10 games – two in Europe followed by eight domestic – before departing for France in pursuit of another World Cup title.

The U.S. Women’s National Team is set to face-off with Brazil on March 5, 2019 at Raymond James Stadium as part of doubleheader (Japan vs. England). This will mark the second time Tampa Bay has hosted the SheBelieves Cup as the USA upended England, 1-0, in 2016.

“This schedule checks a lot of important boxes in our preparation for the World Cup,” said U.S. WNT head coach Jill Ellis. “We’ll get to experience a variety of teams in regard to their strengths and styles of play and almost all of countries will be in their World Cup preparation as well. We are playing tough games in Europe, which is vitally important, and also get to play quality opponents in front of our home fans at venues all across the USA. It will go fast, but these games will be a major factor in pushing us to be at our peak once we arrive in France next summer.”

The USA will hit the ground running to open the schedule, taking on Women’s World Cup host France on January 19 at Stade Océane in Le Havre, France, which is one of the nine 2019 Women’s World Cup venues. Three days later, the USA will face Spain for the first time in team history. That match will be played at Estadio José Rico Perez in Alicante, located on the east coast about 100 miles south of Valencia, in what will also be the first match for the U.S. Women in Spain.

Next up will be the 2019 SheBelieves Cup, which features the USA, England, Japan and Brazil playing doubleheaders at Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, Pa. on Feb. 27, Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. on March 2 and Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. on March 5.

The team will regroup in early April for two important matches: against Australia on April 4 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo., and against Belgium on April 7 at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles.

In May, the U.S. team will gather for the three matches of the Send-Off Series, Presented by Volpi Foods. The first match will take place on May 12 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. against South Africa, followed by a game on May 16 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Mo. against a team to be determined. The players will then take their final break before the World Cup and regroup for the last match before departing for France, taking on Mexico on May 26 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J.

The schedule currently features seven teams that will participate in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and Countdown to the Cup will take the WNT to all four continental U.S. time zones, giving fans across the country a chance to cheer the team on to France!

IOWA AND MISSISSIPPI STATE TO SQUARE-OFF IN OUTBACK BOWL

IOWA AND MISSISSIPPI STATE TO SQUARE-OFF IN OUTBACK BOWL

Tampa, FL— The Iowa Hawkeyes and No. 18 Mississippi State Bulldogs will square-off for the first time in the Outback Bowl on New Year’s Day in Tampa, bowl officials announced today.  Both teams are 8-4.  It will be the first time these teams have played in 119+ seasons of their football history.  It will also be the first appearance by Mississippi State in the Outback Bowl.

“We are thrilled to extend an invitation to Iowa and Mississippi State to play in this year’s Outback Bowl,” said Outback Bowl Chairman Todd Timmerman.  “These are two quality teams that should produce a terrific match-up that fans are really going to enjoy watching on New Year’s Day.    We look forward to hosting the Hawkeye and Bulldog teams and their fans, and ensure them they will have an amazing experience in the Tampa Bay area.”

“I am thrilled for our team and our tremendous group of seniors who have earned the opportunity to go out with a New Year’s Day bowl in the state of Florida,” MSU head coach Joe Moorhead said. “The Outback Bowl is the perfect destination for our team. I have always had tremendous respect for Coach Ferentz and his Iowa teams.”

“We are excited to accept a bid to our first Outback Bowl to cap off Joe Moorhead’s successful first season as our head football coach,” MSU Director of Athletics John Cohen said. “I want to congratulate our team and our coaching staff for earning our program’s ninth straight bowl appearance. This team featured college football’s best defense and demonstrated overall improvement throughout the year, as shown by winning four of its last five games, including a dominant win in a rivalry game to finish the regular season. Tampa is a great city, with an endless number of entertainment opportunities for our fans, and we always look forward to playing in an NFL stadium. I encourage our Bulldog family to pack Raymond James Stadium and send our senior class out the right way.”

“Our football team, coaches, and staff are excited to be invited to the 2019 Outback Bowl,” said Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz. “We know we will enjoy outstanding hospitality, and we know we will face a quality opponent from the SEC. This is a great reward for how hard our players have worked and the success they have enjoyed this season.”

“I always feel at this time of the year an excitement for our student-athletes, their families and our coaches to continue the season,” stated Henry B. and Patricia B. Tippie Director of Athletics Chair Gary Barta.  “We have had several great trips to the Outback Bowl.  Jim McVay, his staff and volunteers, put on a great experience in sunny Tampa.  Once again, Hawkeye fan support has been fantastic this season, and I cannot wait to see the black and gold in Raymond James Stadium on New Year’s Day.”
